Food

Each plate is carefully prepared to amuse your eyes as well as your pallet. We specialize in mountain vegan food, which has been traditionally eaten by Buddhist monks at Daisen Temple. Because of the harsh climate to grow vegetables at 800m above sea level, the monks have developed a unique mountain vegan cuisine. We offer seasonal dishes using only fresh local produce.
